Someone go back and tell the kid who listened to Solitude Standing on repeat for years that he was going to get to work with Suzanne Vega on a video for her new song. He wouldn’t believe you, but here we are.

Video by Michael Arthur, Bernie DeChant and Lauren Balthrop.

I made this video to accompany the It’s No Secret podcast, available wherever fine podcasts are found. It tells the tale of the epic audition that Twang Twang Shockaboom did for Tommy Mottola and the heads of CBS Records a long, long time ago. Come for the showbiz story; stay for Mariah.
