New Animated Video for Balthrop, Alabama

Created from drawings made during the recording and mixing sessions
for Balthrop, Alabama’s upcoming release, We Have Electricity (End Up
Records), this is the first video drawn, animated and edited
completely by Michael.

Michael is headed out on tour with the towns-folk of Balthrop, Alabama

New Yellowbirds Video at NPR: Ten Years of Michael’s Drawings

Check out the new video by Yellowbirds mastermind, Sam Cohen. He came
over to the studio a few weeks back and thumbed through Michael’s
cabinet of drawings, hand-selecting pictures which he felt resonated
with his song, The Reason. It’s an amazing collaboration!

After the recent New York City blizzard, Michael wandered around Brooklyn and took some pictures of the snowdrifts, then loaded them on to his iPad to make some snow drawings.
